Because he’s like 50 years younger than those guys and that style of music is not popular anymore.
Michael Buble fricking CRUSHES it in his career. Definitely will be considered one of the all time greats in the genre.
I saw him live and it was very good. He's also pretty hilarious and not as wholesome as people think he is, largely due to his Christmas music I think (which prints money for him).

He’s a great piano player.
His singing, not so much.

Should have joined a boy band.

How does he compare with Michael Buble?
Not as good, and the market can only support so many of those types of singers in this day and age.

Yup! And can arrange music really well. The instrumentation in his music is amazing.

It’s not great. Might help if he used the auto-tuner.

I don't care about what you say about his career I'm not even a fan... but this is one of the BEST Christmas albums ever

Agree - I’m a fan bit I like that style of music

He married Jill Goodacre. I think his career paid off.

Well isn’t he the same style as Buble and Josh Grodan? But they seem IMO much bigger overall than Connich.

There is a limited audience for crooners, unlike in Frank and Dean's day. He got a talk show, a Mardi Gras parade and a slew of popular albums. Pretty Pete Fountainish actually. Being a NOLA great is what he is.

He is one of the greats.
We just live in a time of WAP. People today don’t know good music.

Ahhhh... The greats are Sinatra, Martin, Cole, Crosby... Harry is not in that category.

Harry Connick, Jr.?
Josh Groban?
Michael Buble'?
Amateurs!
Angelina Jordan is about to say, "Move over boys...and here, hold my champagne."
Duet with Sinatra:
You Make Me Feel So Young

This... But there just aren't enough of us to make some one really well-known.
Ftr, "great" is probably an ill-advised adjective here. He IS a great musical talent but just not that popular.
I really enjoy that music and prefer Bobby Caldwell... Who is even less popular...

Because he is not great. Heck, he is barely entertaining.
