Most recent example (all musicians):

Lemmy
Bowie
Frey

It seems to happen quite often. There has to be something to it right? I seem to remember a bunch of these recently.

That's over a span of about three weeks. Plus other minor celebrities died in that time.

Because they don't?

For every celebrity death threesome (get your head out of the gutter), it's arbitrarily cut-off by date/time and level of fame to make it fit the narrative.

They don't. It's just pointed out when it happens that way.

They don't, but because people keep saying it and using only three people as examples it continues the myth.

For example, Natalie Cole, Larence Phillips, Rene Angelil, Ted Marchibroda, Craig Strickland, etc all just recently died too but

They don't, but superstitious morons believe they do. Seriously, wtf is wrong with your brain to actually think that?

That doesn't mean there is nothing wrong with the brains of those that perpetuate it

the fallacy isn't a sign of some sort of damage or problem. we all commit the fallacy in some fort or fashion at points in our lives

it's how our brains evolved to cope with the inability to analyze all information that our brains can process

grouping is a very common evolutionary trait

Thinking peoples' deaths are timed in some way is taking the fallacy to the next level of dumb imo

My downfall was always after 3 of the same letter on scantrons or putting my money on red after the three previous spins have all been red
