You're going to need to do better if you're going to play the the moderate role here. Your post history belies your claims in this thread. I, personally, don't give a shite, but if you're going to play this game at least play it honestly. Lying to yourself and others takes all the fun out of it.

Not as close as the 60s. Although the poli board is actively cheering for it.

People are online too much, arguing about politics and getting triggered by beer cans and Taylor Swift. Instead of logging off and pursuing more fulfilling hobbies.

It’s what Silicon Valley wanted, a country of closed minded clones addicted to their phones.

Keep your head in the sand. Play on your phone. The world is about to change dramatically in the next 20 years.
Counting backwards in roughly 20 year increments, it's hard to find a time the country has ever gone more than 25 years without dramatic change. I'd consider Covid one of those times. 20 years before that you had 9/11. 10 before that was the end of the Cold War. 20 years before that was the Vietnam War and the civil rights movement. 25 years before that was WWII and the beginning of the nuclear age. The Great Depression before that, and on and on.

Going 20 years without dramatic change is the exception, not the rule.

Covid was the breaking of the first Seal in the Book of Revelation. The 2nd Seal gets broken this year. Keep your eyes on the Paris Olympics.

Already there

Started in 1980 and the beginning of government debt then passing it forward to the next POTUS who added even more.

Barbarians sacked Rome but it was the decline a generation or two in advance that allowed it to happen.

When you have a president on the verge of senility and a GOP frontrunner threatening allies while embracing Russia, you know we aren't far from something bad.

Do you feel the average male today is the same as the average male in America from 1940?

Not just no……..I’m re-watching Band of Brothers. The men in that generation were some of the toughest in all history. Definitely could teach some of the males in today’s society a few things.

Stop going to political message boards. Stop reading click me news sites. Talk to your friends. Go to a park/library. Society is fine unless you allow yourself to to taken over by propaganda on the left or the right.

Do any of y’all pay attention to what’s happening in DC? What about the globalists? Illegal immigrants infiltrating America? Nukes all over the globe in the wrong hands?

I don’t think the worlds ending anytime soon or that there will be a nationwide collapse or anything… but the ingredients are all there

Oil shocks of the 70's killed off 3 POTUS dealing with the pain.

Ronnie steps in and goes on a debt binge (doubled the deficit in 8 short years) and no POTUS since has show the balls to fix it. They just add more and pass the hot potato to the next POTUS.

Liberal vs Conservative is a fricking show for sheeple bro. It’s completely fricking bullshite, and anyone that’s been really involved knows it. It’s more like oil and gas and friends vs Tech industry and buddies. No matter who wins you probably lose.

They didn’t a flying frick about social issues, money talks and all that bullshite doesn’t even walk

Anyone who doubts societal breakdown needs only to study the aftermath of Katrina in NOLA. Once communications & power were lost, there was no command & control.

Police worked independently and basically had to step aside and watch.
Police command ordered confiscation of citizen’s legal weapons leaving them defenseless against roving mobs.

It came very close to completely blowing up and I think the only reason it didn’t was because majority were evacuated already and travel was difficult with vast areas being flooded.

Particularly if the dollar stops becoming the World's reserve currency.

This is a big deal, but it helps that China’s economy is sucking wind, and their priorities have changed to align behind a more traditional communist party. That probably buys the dollar another couple decades as reserve currency at least.

Authoritarianism is the near-term danger, not collapse.
