Stop buying your jeans from Walmart.

I don't know if WM still sells them but they used to sell Wrangler, and those are comfortable AF.

I figure if the only reason a woman is interest in me is because I wear a $100 pair of jeans, then she's the type that will be taking half my shite in about 8 years.

I haven’t owned a pair of jeans since HS. Maybe they’ve come a long way, I wouldn’t know. I couldn’t wear them to work, can’t wear them out most nights, and when I dress down I don’t wear long pants.

I honestly am not a fan of jeans. I own 2 pair and rarely wear them. We have casual Fridays at work and 95% of the time you'll find me in a skirt or dress pants.

Must be a bunch of fat people here that don't like to wear jeans that feel uncomfortable.

Wear jeans 5-6 days a week. I'm retired and yes, I have some that are well over 30 years old and yes I still fit in them easy.

I think it's just a matter of personal choice/taste. I wore comfortable jeans when I was younger but I haven't owned a pair since the mid-1980s. I feel as comfortable in a suit going to court as I do in golf shorts. I just choose not to wear jeans anymore.

No one here is impressed by suffering through hipster Plastidipped raw denim.

The cost of a pair of jeans is very relative. I'm happy to invest in a few nice pairs every couple years - I wear them all of the time and they are a staple to any wardrobe.

I say Nordstrom Rack because otherwise the same pairs go for $180-225 elsewhere.

Citizens, AG, Joe's, Paige, 7s, etc. are expensive no matter where you get them. Paige has become my favorite of the bunch I listed - much more elastic, softer fit than the others. 7s are my least favorite. Citizens and AG are too damn expensive, although I like them a lot.

I love Carhartt relaxed fit jeans, very comfortable. Have a dozen or so pair. I get 2 new pair a year and give 2 of my old pair to a veterans group. Wranglers are too snug and Levi's bind me in the crotch. Not a fan. And will never pay $100 for jeans, that is for women or a pretentious man.

Shop elsewhere.
And try on bigger sizes and notice the fit category.
Some are made by and for twiggy.

In my picky old age I have my summer stuff made to order.
100% cotton and roomy.

, no way in hell I'm dropping $100 for a pair of pants.

What you need is a good thrift shop. Dallas has some outstanding ones.

ETA:

Same place I scooped a Coach Purse and this shirt for $36.

I bought some Wrangler's that stretch and that's the most comfortable jeans I've ever had.

You darn tootin'. Even if I were OT baller status, I'd be rocking the thrift shops for clothes the majority of the time.
