The voices in my head tell me I have lots of friends. I didn't believe them at first but now I do. They also tell me all my friends are edible. I don't believe them.

Declutter, simplify, minimize, do things to remove stress everywhere in your life.

Getting Laid always makes me feel better. Seriously I don't have a lot of friends I'm good with that. I do what I want when I want and have no one to bitch at me for it. But still Getting Laid is the best idea I've heard, and if you have to start with a fat girl and work your way up ;-)

You don't need a ton of friends to enjoy life, but it's nice to have a few you like to hang out with.

I find a lot of people who claim to hate people do so as a coping mechanism because no one likes them

I agree with the suggestion to get a dog. Not just for companionship but the dog can be a great social equalizer.

Overall, it's sounds like you may need to learn how to chill out. What are your exercise and sleep habits? Running and/or cycling can help you get rid of a lot of the nervous energy, you'll release endorphins, sleep better because you'll physically be too tired to lay there and think about everything, and improve your self-esteem. All of that should help you socially.

Good, restful sleep can actually go along way to helping your brain reset and staying in a healthy emotional state.

You're going to have to change your entire mindset and view on life. Start by loosening up and not taking everything so serious. shite happens, that's life. Deal with it, know it's not the end of the world, and move on. And the last thing you do is let other people bother you. Just do your own thing and live your own life, that's all we really can do in this crazy world.

I really really hate people. Never had a best friend growing up. I'm always on guard in crowds and aware of my surroundings. Even think someone said something to me in crowds, its not the case at all. I have a few select friends. What is wrong with me?? How can I enjoy life more?

Maybe you are already enjoying your life and you shouldn't change anything...

I am also a fairly solitary individual and actually enjoy being alone. I travel a good bit for work and have no problem at all having dinner by myself. I do enjoy attending events with others, but I have no issue with packing my shite up and attending a college football game by myself, etc. I have also picked activities like fly fishing that are best done alone and I will pack my shite for a weekend in a trout stream in a heartbeat.

If you are not drawn to others, don't feel the need to push yourself to do things that you don't enjoy just because others say you should.

Start by setting some small goals.

10 push ups, or whatever your fitness level is.

Create something.

As you are able to hit these small goals, increase them.

As you create things, you will feel a sense of accomplishment. It could be anything, a painting, a lego tower, a tie dyed shirt... literally anything. Just make something that you can step back and look at.

Once your self confidence increases, continue on the path. Self confidence and feeling good about yourself are the keys to happiness.

Seriously just work on these two things,
1) setting and hitting small goals.
2) create something.

Good luck.

You neee to realize that people don’t really care about you, one way or the other. They don’t hate you. They don’t love you. They are worried about themselves.

Once you realize this, you won’t look at any encounter with people as some serious business. Have fun with people. They don’t care unless you are a dick to them. Relax.
