And now we know who overpaid in an underserved area.
And who is pro overpriced gondola, trolley, and other government boondoggle programs that are dreamt up while real problems tear the city apart.
Yet you guys whine about the trolley and gondola that you can't have, when real problems are out there! Sheesh!

No sir. I don't reside in BR. I am in Boca Raton, FL. Nice try though.

No trolley from Baton Rouge (or gondola) is going that far. But, now that we ferreted out your real motives, maybe that is why it costs $230 million?

All I am saying is that this forum was populated with talk of a trolley, a gondola, gentrification, and how great all that was.

How about a stroll down the newly congested Government Street for a meet and greet with your newest and angriest neighbors?
None of this occurred in Mid City. At least get your troll facts right first.

Hasn't been a peep in Mid City.
There has yet to be a single instsnce of violence related to this shooting.
Gentrification is still full speed ahead.
Go f@#k yourself you race-baiting, bigoted, TPOS.

Still looking for a late night trolley ride and rob?
That's not going in Mid-City.

The protests aren't happening on Goverment St. or in Mid-City.

A gondola to wisk your traffic nightmares away and bring you to new levels of fear?
The gondola was a throw-away line in an article that was comically blown out of proportion due to its obvious absurdity.

Re-do that quaint 1920s bungalow in the bugaloo so you can get burglarized?
Ahhhh....... It's all so lovely! Where is the pro-gentrification crowd when other crowds appear?
If you're part of the early waves of gentrification, yeah, things aren't always going to be peachy.
I think the incentive for gentrification is primarily economic, so the points you're making are pretty silly. People move to these neighborhoods because they see an opportunity to get good value, even when weighed against the negatives of the neighborhood.

I live in Mid-city right just a few houses off of Gov't and I haven't heard a peep out here. Business as usual as far as I've seen.

Not a fan of capitalism, comrade?
