Kids join NHS so it will make their resumes look slightly better. But that's it.

it means little to nothing. I graduated at the top of my class but was not invited because I was from a poor family and the wrong side of town.

NHS doesn't matter at all at LSU. I don't even remember putting it on an application to any state school. And as much as I loved my time at LSU, you've got your "settling" priorities a bit mixed up. Might be a good thing to have for Tulane or other picky. Schools, especially if you go to a so-so high school.

I didn't make it into the National Honor Society and now I get all my advice on the O-T Lounge :(
