The government has drawn a line in the sand and is saying DO NOT CROSS THE LINE. If those protesters choose to cross it than it is 100% on them. It's not that hard...

Or if *street* is your preferred language, 'don't start no shite won't be no shite'

Just curious where you got your law degree or your Masters in public relations. Because I promise the White House is listening to those two sectors right now more than any other.

3rd party candidate

Congrats on throwing your vote away.

I understand supporting a 3rd party. But, why not focus on a local election that a 3rd party can actually win.

I applaud him for voting 3rd party if he hates both candidates. Viable 3rd party candidates make politicians more accountable to their platforms and their constituents by giving people another alternative. Without UKIP in the UK, Brexit doesn't happen, because the Tories don't otherwise fear a mass exodus from the party.

I’m kind of a proponent for “innocent until proven guilty”. Call me crazy. If they aren’t peaceful, then proper action should be taken.

Well of course and I agree but they have no intent on being peaceful. That has been made clear.

Like him or hate him, every non-insane person in this country knows Trump getting killed would destroy us.

Trump getting killed

White Riot. Worse than anything anyone else has ever done and no one would GAF what the media said anymore. Theyd be hunted too.

First off..then, the rest of the world would scheme and while we were busy fighting ourselves..the light of a Red Dawn would approach.

The Pentagon has told National Guardsmen deployed to the nation's capital not to use firearms or ammunition, and has issued orders to send home active-duty troops that the Trump administration amassed outside the city in recent days, a sign of de-escalation in the federal response to protests in the city.

Defense Secretary Mark Esper made the decision to disarm the guard without consulting the White House, after President Donald Trump ordered a militarized show of force on the streets of Washington to quell demonstrations that were punctured by an episode of looting Sunday, two senior administration officials said. Trump had encouraged the National Guard to be armed.

shite is brewing for sure. They want their blood shed moment to pin on Trump

I will tell you that I am 100% in favor of lawful, peaceful protests. It's what this nation was founded on. If some choose to go beyond that, they absolutely deserve to be punished to whatever degree necessary.

Is shutting down and marching on an interstate peaceful? How about not allowing the President of the United States to move freely in Washington DC?

These idiots want one of two things :

1) Media videoing then actually taking the capital or WH, then burning it ; or
2) Media videoing the killing of protestors by LEO/Feds

You deny them both. Gas, pepper spray, block them in an area. Do what it takes to not let them get either of their wet dream photo ops.

According to the Constitution and SCOTUS, yes. Sorry that upsets you. But of course there are exceptions. Also, why are you assuming this is what will happen?

president should have the power to get anyone out of the way.

It's what comes with getting to be the president.

Do I need a permit? You don’t need a permit to march in the streets or on sidewalks, as long as marchers don’t obstruct car or pedestrian traffic. If you don’t have a permit, police officers can ask you to move to the side of a street or sidewalk to let others pass or for safety reasons. Certain types of events may require permits. These include a march or parade that requires blocking traffic or street closure; a large rally requiring the use of sound amplifying devices; or a rally over a certain size at most parks or plazas.

This is from the ACLU website.

Did the protesters get permits to march on the interstate?
