I flew out of there twice and it was nothing at all to brag about. Little 12 seat prop plane that Northrop Grumman would use to fly us to Pascagoula in. Pretty crappy little plane so I would have rather just driven.

Rode my bike by there today. It will never be ready in time.

DOTD knows it will be a clusterfvck... Their engineers told them it would be. The "powers-that-be" don't GAF. Same with Washington St in BR.

The 18 inch thick concrete ramp apron is sinking and already being replaced.

Also, why the hell not just buy out ALL of that shitty property (that's just some slum housing and cheap warehouses), located south of that canal and basically abutting the new terminal?
This is a set up for the personal injury lawyers to make bank. I can see all the payoffs for pain and suffering because of all the noise from the airport.

Wouldn’t be any different than current setup.

Happened months ago. Other stuff is happening.... when I said it was happening people didn't believe me. Just wait.... this could be epic.

I'm supposed to be flying back in within 48 hours of the new terminal opening after leaving from the old terminal.
Should I load up on insurance so my loved ones are provided for after I'm gone or should the basic package that automatically comes with the plane ticket and my credit card provider be enough?

You could have said Esplanade mall too.
There is lots of available parking and it at least has its own off ramp into the hood.

pay attention to signage for the entrance, because if you miss it you have to drive back to the traffic circle and start over.

Exactly. I cant stand when people say New Orleans doesn't understand traffic circles when we have had one for over 100 years.

Subtle, I fly private.
Edit...I see you fly on props. Sorry about that.

People using the road make mistakes (like running stop signs and red lights), always have and always will. Crashes will always be with us, but they need not result in fatalities or serious injury.
Modern roundabouts are the safest form of intersection in the world - the intersection type with the lowest risk of fatal or serious injury crashes - (much more so than comparable signals). Modern roundabouts require a change in speed and alter the geometry of one of the most dangerous parts of the system - intersections.
The reduction in speed to about 20 mph and sideswipe geometry mean that, when a crash does happen at a modern roundabout, you might need a tow truck, rarely an ambulance. Visit the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety for modern roundabout FAQs and safety facts.
Modern Roundabouts are one of several proven road safety features (FHWA).

Modern, slow and go, roundabout intersections have less daily delay than a stop light or stop sign, especially the other 20 hours a day people aren’t driving to or from work (it’s the #2 reason they’re built). Signals take an hour of demand and restrict it to a half hour, at best only half the traffic gets to go at any one time. 'At best' because traffic signals must have the yellow and all red portion (6+ seconds per cycle) for safety, and modern roundabouts do not. At a modern roundabout, drivers entering from different directions can all enter at the same time. Don’t try that with a signalized intersection.

Many people confuse other and older styles of circular intersections with modern roundabouts. High speed, east coast rotaries, large multi-lane traffic circles (Arc D’Triomphe, Dupont Circle), and small neighborhood traffic circles are not modern roundabouts and UK 'roundabouts' are not the same as US 'roundabouts'. The Brits even call a merry-go-round a kid’s roundabout.

No just give me your wife's number and her nudes so I can console her when you're dead.
