Patiently waiting on the flat earthers response

Looks flat from where I'm sittin'.

One can also simply look up from the bottom of a well or cavern with an opening and observe the movement of the stars.

So the Earth is curved and not flat. So what? Still ain't round.

The issue is that you can do the same experiment all over the world and come to the same result.
Are you aware of any other shapes that would give the same result?

Sounds like a conspiracy to me.

All the maps I've ever seen unfold to be flat. So the earth is obviously flat.

Im currently contemplating how you've avoided a globe your whole life.

How could they know it's at the same instance miles apart? What kind of wifi telecommunications did they have?
Also I just googled sun's parallel rays and it says they are not.
pretty shoddy

Here I just recreated the experiment on my bathroom floor with coke cans.
Obviously this proves the lamp is millions of miles away and my bathroom floor is curved

There was an experiment conducted at Burj Khalifa, home of the world’s tallest building. The building is 2,700 feet tall and has about 150 stories.
A camera was set-up on every floor and the sunset was recorded on every floor. The difference between the sundown time was one second per floor and total elapsed time from the ground floor to the top floor was approximately 2 minutes and 30 seconds. If the earth were flat, the sunset time would be the same for every floor.

why? You have to prove that.
I bet I could once again do that one on my bathroom floor with a lamp

No, if your lamp were millions of miles away, your floor would have to be curved to create that result. Your lamp isn't millions of miles away, so it isn't.

You have a lamp in your bathroom?
Posted on 8/31/24 at 4:43 pm to cattus
I’ve been working out so much I can now lift lamps and move them. If the earth was flat I wouldn’t be able to do that

no, I just put it in there for this experiment.

Yes.
Can we just take a second to appreciate that I rekt this oft-cited experiment so easily.
He says it assumes parallel rays. You can also google sun’s parallel rays and see that they are not. And again how they can check at the exact same instance miles apart in the ancient world without telecommunications? So what the frick is going on?

The light waves from your light aren’t parallel because it’s four feet away

I refuse to believe anyone is stupid enough to truly believe the earth is flat. I know we have some really stupid people living among us, but to be stupid enough to believe the earth is flat? No way. They’re claiming to believe this to be contrarian and sharp.
