I wonder what the 59 dip in the concrete jungle around Tuam looks like right now
That dip floods routinely
Freeways are elevated but you cant get off because the frontage roads are flooded
This is beyond bad

What has happened down here is the winds have changed.
Clouds rolled in from the north and it started to rain.

Watching the same channel.
Its still hitting us in Sugar land. Wish I would have gone and dumped the rain gauge to get a better estimate of rain. Definitely at least 7.5 to 8 inches in the past 5 hours.
My wife's brother and parents have water in their houses in spring branch.

Yea, the White Oak Bayou water elevation at Heights Blvd is normally 5-10 ft and it's currently at 37 ft...the top of the bank is 31 ft. Its crazy how fast it rose.

Not sure how the crime rate is there but with the flooding... But let's hope Katrina doesn't happen again.

Was thinking specifically of this patch. Also a couple places on Allen Parkway and also a couple of dips under the tracks just North of Washington Ave.

Same here in sienna plantation. They are saying the wall of storm pushing from the north is stopping the heavy band coming from the sw from moving thru casing a massive stall right over fort bend county.

This is honestly the worst I've ever seen it here, been here only 9 years, though. It's not gonna be a pretty sight when things clear up in the morning.

Been through this too much. Hope those stranded make it through the night. This pattern has been too much to handle.
