Despite all of the libs and hairy legged women, I’d take Seattle 11/10 times over Houston.

Houston is the most boring of all the boom (good to live in, lame to visit) cities (Phoenix, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston).

Diversity this, diversity that.

Most diverse...

Does a larger quantitative measurement of diversity automatically equal a better city?

I’ll compare it to a painting. Generally speaking, more often than not, multiple hues is better than monochromatic, but the quality of the brush strokes and the total impact of the composition seems to be more important than total number of colors used.

I live here and I can tell you, you're full of sheet. Several cities better than this one although you're right, the culture is rich here and great food.

Nope

Way too many people. Ridiculous how long it takes to get to the suburb areas of Houston where most people live.
I don't know about anyone else, but the downtown area is boring, lacking dining options.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's great for young professionals and the opportunities you have there jobwise.

When it comes to food Houston no joke. Some of the best Asian, gulf seafood, bbq, Mexican/Tex-Mex and Cajun. A whole lot of cities are gonna fall short in comparison.

I really dont get the "cultural hub" tag that Houston flaunts. Hell, it was the first thing I saw on the wall when I got off the plane in Houston the other day. The only "culture" Houston has is being northern Mexico. People there cling to that for dear life but if youre going to claim that as your identity, so much for that "diversity" accomplishment

I rank Houston the 11th best Texas City just behind Gilmer at 10.

I would completely get on board with this.... If Dallas could somehow rid itself of cowboy fans it really would be a great city
