I still haven't gotten a definitive answer on this. None of the news articles say for certain either way.

That's a slippery slope. I don't se how you can fault someone for shooting an unannounced person breaking into your house

What makes you believe they weren’t innocent?

Because they had some weed?

Well, yea, that and the fact that they shot 4 of the cops executing the warrant.

You're telling me this is a house where it's sold and there's not even one tiny little shred of evidence of it in the house?

Exactly. This house was just a random house they picked because they didn’t like the guy. That was all.

I looked up their criminal history in Harris County and the male didn’t have a record and the female had one charge 9 years ago of stealing money under $500.

Maybe I’m off base but I would assume drug dealers would at least have some kind of criminal history.

Because they're prepared to defend their home.

I'm sure a criminal will wait for you to load your weapon when they break into your house.

I’m sorry but most pit bull owners don’t obey the law. I’m not saying all are criminals but let’s not act like that breed isn’t a dead give away to shady characters.

I don't really disagree, but

again. yep, "it's survival" to come from the back of the house blasting after this highly organized group of invaders enter your home a in organized fashion, all wearing military gear, brandishing non-street weapons, and insisting your female crime partner get on the ground or put her hands up.

that's a fantastic story.

Ah I'm glad we finally can hear from someone at the house at the time. Why didn't you say so before?

They are inherently dangerous for both the occupants and the cops executing the warrant and should be used rarely.

The fact that this warrant was carried out at 5 p.m. leads me to believe it wasn't a no knock warrant. Usually, those are done in the middle of the night to catch the occupants off guard.

These military style raids get officers killed. Is this the only way to serve a warrant these days? High school kids, all the way to gang members, get that same . Its a shite policy.

Then either quit replying or quit crying like a bitch. You do this every time you try to argue with me. It's very beta.

Not a liar, but there's no way we will ever know the full story. It will be the cops word since HPD doesn't use their body cams for warrants.

so it was tested on the scene and didn't come back positive for anything they have kits for?

Or they bagged and tagged it and sent it to the lab for testing.

To be fair, they seem to have lived in Missouri previously but have lived in Houston for a long time. So it’s possible they could have a record in other states or counties.
