Right because when there is a rash of crime in a Country Club type subdivision your first reaction is that its "damn whitey".

Given all that, a security system is like $300 for 4 cameras. I don’t know why any decent drug dealer wouldn’t have that set up.

As I posted earlier, given the weapons they had, their age, the lack of substantial amounts of drugs, and no heroin in the house, they were most likely just mom and pop junkies selling a little to support their habit. If their were a security camera system you can bet any video recorded will never see light of day.

In my head and this is completely without any facts, there’s 2 plain clothes that knock and try to buy. With a team of 4 or whatever hidden. So they answer the door and only see the 2 people they know, with everyone else out of sight.

The words of the police chief, and the animated video portraying what occurred, paints a different picture.

It shows nine officers identified as narcs out front.

It shows four entering an empty room through the front door.

The chief says they were fired upon, as soon as they entered.

He says a pit bull attacked Narc1, and he shot it with the shotgun he brought with him.

He says the male suspect comes from another room, and shoots the shoots Narc1 in the shoulder with a 357.

The animated video shows the female suspect going into the front room, and the chief says she goes for Narc1's shotgun.

The chief says Narc2, Narc3, and Narc4 shoot the woman, then they exchange fire with the male suspect.

The chief says all three of them go down, and their boss comes to the front door, and is shot.

The chief then says Narc6, Narc7, Narc8, Narc9 and Narc10 kill the man.

One article I read actually said that they suspect a security system was what tipped them off of the raid. I'll see if I can find the article.

ETA. Here it is. LINK

He also said police are investigating electronic surveillance in the home that might have tipped off the suspects to the raid in progress.

You sure do say everything as pretty matter of fact for someone having zero involvement with police

These military style raids get officers killed. Is this the only way to serve a warrant these days? High school kids, all the way to gang members, get that same . Its a shite policy.

and for Old White men like Roger Stone.

Their is a time and place for these raids. We don't know if this was one though

You don't have to be a cop to understand why conducting a no knock warrant during the day makes little to no sense.

Could also be that the cops had the wrong location or went to the wrong house and the man responded exactly as every man would when someone breaks into their home and shoots his dog

Some rumors out there that the cops got the wrong house.

Some guy posted a YouTube video of two different addresses.

7815 Harding: Raid location

And

7815 Hardy: showing high tech cameras on a crap old house that looks like a classic trap house

The street numbers are the same and the street numbers are similar, but the two houses don't look anything alike. And even if they did, don't you think the narc would remember that the house he bought the drugs at was on a six lane highway?

My guess is that the Hardy house is vacant, but the property is used as an equipment yard for a contractor or storage for a business, which is why it's fenced and has security cameras.

First....most agencies don't test white powder anymore due to the fear of Fentanyl. You send it to the Crime Lab and wait for analysis.

Second....It is not uncommon to to hit a house and it be dry. It is common for dealers to sell all their dope before "re-upping" so there is always a chance you hit them between running out and the re-up.

Third....it is also possible that a third party who normally does the dealing was not there when they hit the house and he/she carries the dope with them instead of leaving it at the house.

Just pointing a few things out.

More info coming in

ABC13 Obtained Copy of the HPD Warrant for the Raid

quote:

According to the warrant obtained exclusively by ABC13, police believed the occupants were selling heroin out of the home, based on a tip from a confidential informant. [ SEE FULL WARRANT ] An officer reportedly witnessed the informant buy heroin at the home on Harding. The informant described a man in the home, drugs and a weapon. The warrant identified the home in detail, but did not name the alleged suspects. The unnamed man was described as a white male, about 55 years old, roughly 5'11" and 180 pounds. Dennis Tuttle, 59, and his wife Rhogena Nicholas, 58, were killed in a gun battle when officers tried to serve the warrant

quote:

Nine narcotics detectives backed up by at least six patrol officers surrounded the home on Harding Street just before 5 p.m. on Monday. After a 54-year-old officer, the lead investigator on the case, broke open the front door, a 33-year-old officer armed with a shotgun entered the residence and was immediately attacked by a pit bull, Acevedo said. He said that the officer being attacked shot and killed the dog. One of the suspects, Tuttle, charged from the back of the house firing a .357-caliber Magnum revolver at the officer, hitting him in the shoulder.

This is why people keep saying no knock raid. still no mention of then identifying themselves and all.

This is the biggest part of this new info. Kills the friend coming over and selling idea.

I think the more info we learn the more and more the no knock raid seems like it was a complete failure and was close to costing several officers their lives
