That’s a stupid blanket statement. Ben Franklin is one of the top high schools in Blue NOLA.
sending your kid to Ben Franklin might be less violently dangerous but you’re increasing the chances of your kid becoming gay or soy by 50%

Supposedly the kid licked his fingers with the victims blood on them afterwards. Killed over a vape. Supposedly

This ridiculous that students have to protest the school/district to have violent students removed from their classes.

public transportation, public parks, and public schools in and around major cities just aren’t safe for the families who fund it.

Reformative justice is working out great for the normal tax paying citizens.

The OT Moderates will conveniently skip over this thread.

Like the private school kid that stabbed his parents to death in California?

What does that have to do with a kid’s safety in school?

My wife has some rough ones. Nearly all of them are protected by ESS status, making them almost immune from punishment.

the perpetrators are almost universally black teens so I wonder if that has anything to do with why they refuse to do anything about it

Really? Do truly wonder if that's reason? Are you honestly that naive?

It’s just always a private vs public school debate when bullshite like this happens. Yes private schools have more well behaved kids but a lot of people simply can’t afford it. The tuition is ridiculous for private schools in BR. Theres good public schools on the outskirts of BR that don’t have behavioral issues and have many good families

If you send your kids to public schools in blue cities, you're a total piece of shite. Unless you just hate your kids, save up for private or fricking move.

Not if you have smart kids that can get into magnet programs

The best high schools in Nashville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga are all public

Probably had an IEP that kept the school form doing shite. Increasingly common these days.

I played high school basketball in the Houston area and played against Baytown Sterling at their place. It seemed okay. Not great, not terrible. Now, this was in the early 2000’s. Baytown Lee seemed more ghetto to me.
