My brothers and I received Nerf guns for Christmas a few years ago. Probably one of the most enjoyable gifts I've ever received as an adult.

Legos are on the list. He has been playing with those land mines for a few years now.

Could combine that with the PS4 and give Lego Dimensions a try. Amazon has some good deals on pack bundles.

My 4 and 2 y.o. both want Paw Patrol, but I'm also throwing in these cool hunting/fishing truck/trailer sets from Tractor Supply. They also have ranch truck/trailer sets. I bought one for my daughter for her birthday and she loves it

The best thing for a kid that age is an experience like a trip to the zoo, ball game, weekend vacation in a new city. Let’s face it, he’s 7 and probably has a shite ton of toys

Let’s also face the fact that when he’s older there’s a decent chance he will have no memory of that trip.

Hot wheels 6 lane drag race track. My 6 yr old plays with this daily. It announces the winner with a crowd roar as the break the finish line. You can add pieces of track and make it as big as you want. He takes my camera and films the race in slow motion at the finish and the wrecks that happen. Looks freakishly real when we go back and watch it.
