All you'd have to do is show me a picture of that cops haircut, I mean wtf. What do you call that? A bald guy mullet? Bald on top and long in the back with a handle bar mustache? Dudes been drinking the cop koolaid way too long.

The hospital administration should have stepped up and defended her.

Yes, they were probably quick to repeat their policy to cover their arse, but acted defenseless when they saw the employee actually upholding the policy being taken away.

I would think that Mr. Payne's days as an EMT are over also. I doubt that whatever board licenses EMTs in Utah will see him as fit for duty.

Apparently the EMT company this guy worked for fired him also. During the body cam foootage he made some disparaging remarks about some of the patients that he transports as part of his job. The EMT company can't really afford that kind of publicity can they.

This guy is now a pariah and it is completely and totally his fault 100%. Just imagine what else this asshat has done to folks in the past. I'd be willing to be people will come out of the woodwork with similar stories on this guy. He arrested that nurse like a man with the confidence that he was untouchable.

They also need to go after those other cops that were there. Once they go outside you can see one cop lightly tap Capt. Dumbass on the shoulder. He KNEW he was wrong. He does it for a second then thinks the best course of action is to get "off camera" and leaves doing nothing.

He should and most likely be fired.

I don't know why Trump has anything to do with this. But it seems you're butt hurt that Obama only pardoned people convicted of murder and rape.

Nailed it.

Guy should have assault charges and jail time and all those watching quietly should've written up for neglecting their duties. Standing by idly watching a crime but not intervining due to self interest should be a noteworthy offense -- until police can openly police each other, we will not have a police force that deserves substantial trust. The standard for "good ones" needs to be stepping up in these moments.

Hey genius, that's my tax money going into that check. If the nurse just does as she's told then we save money, cop should have just said she was resisting and coerced cooperation.

That's a simpleton's way of viewing this. It's also ignorant to the police department's insurance carrier who very well will be funding at least some portion of "the check"

1. Hospital Administration wasn't there, they were on the phone call she was on when she was placed under arrest.

2. What exactly are you saying Administration should do, attack the cop to protect their nurse? You said they acted defenseless, but what exactly are they going to do when a cop goes off the deep end like this one did?

The cop has a gun, atracking him would be a great way to get shot. Especially when it is obvious he is a head case to begin with

Right

So even though the poster was already wrong because Admin wasn't there, I'm wondering how he thinks they should have "defended" her once the cop went rogue.
