Anyone have or know of a good stories about bad bosses or job duties?

Did you (they) stick it out or tell the boss to take a hike?

I went from oil&gas having a good time at work to IT where no one is friendly. Although I was making more money I was miserable. The guys I was working with were complete dipshits. I'll never do IT again.

Not sure it's horrible but it's interesting. Weird Al Yank.....he said he or his friend was once an accordion repo man. It was an actual job.

Just left a company because the owner was a shithead and money mismanagement.

Wasn't going to wait around for the doors to close or paychecks bounce.

You get that with people who have bad superiority complexes.

And IT has a lot of people who believe they are Superior to almost every body else

I had a boss that expected me to memorize every part number for every International truck and SUV within a week. After I didn't, he treated me like shite, and wouldn't give me anything further than very basic secretarial work to do. If he was on the phone, I wasn't even allowed to spend the one or two minutes it took to look up parts....I just had to tell the customers to call back later.

In the middle of my third week, I called him a giant piece of shite and an a-hole, told him to go frick himself, and told him to give me a check before I left. He didn't, and I had to threaten him with a lawsuit to get paid for half of a week's worth of work. I still badmouth him to this day.

Worst boss to date

The requirements of my job keep morphing into unrealistic things and the aptmosphere has turned pretty toxic

Every job sucks.

That's why they pay you to be there.

My boss is such a bitch. She comes in everyone morning all singsong good morning to one certain coworker. Then walks by us other two workers office and doesn’t say a word. Then she goes in the favorite coworkers office and whispers all fricking morning

Then she constantly comes in my office and asks me what I’m working on which really pisses me off

Had a boss that would review every correspondence I wrote and send it back to me marked up in red ink ( like a HS report) I would make the changes and send it to her again and she would mark it up. Took me a couple of weeks to realize that she always approved the third submission; so, after the second submission I would sometimes resend the initial submission and it would get approved. This went on till I left

I worked at a small pharmacy during college. The co-owner was a piece of shite. He harassed all the employees, publicly bullying the males and was inappropriate with the females, rarely called people by their names. He had disrespectful nicknames for everyone. I avoided him, but he always looked for BS reasons to call me aside.

One day he walked up behind me, acting like he was looking over my shoulder at my work. He spoke with his mouth very close to my ear, “Do you know what your doing?” Then I felt the weight of his disgusting fat gut against my back and him pressing me into the counter. I reacted unpleasantly, reported it to the other owner and quit.

The thought of that incident still pisses me off.

It’s easier to get good stories about crappy employees.

At my uncles pharmacy in Monroe, we used to have all these know it all pharmacy student interns. Now don’t get me wrong, they were easy on the eyes but talk about stuck up.

Sure, we treated them well. Sweep the Kitchen pizzas from Johnney’s Pizza regularly. I made sure there were never any leftovers too, know what I’m saying?

Anyways, you could barely have a civil discussion about their performance before they start bitchin about a hostile work environment and calling you fat, just for checking on their work.

This one chick from Denham was hyper-sensitive. Stormed off mid shift because I ate the last piece.

Wonder whatever happened to her? Could have been the real deal.
