I went to the one in Bossier City last week. Noticed a $0.99 charge for extra ranch.

I told the waitress, "There must be a mistake, I didn't order an extra ranch". She said, "Wings don't come with ranch anymore."

Pretty sure they have been charging for that, blue cheese, celery, and carrots for A LONG time. One of the reasons I never wanted to go. They nickeled and dimed you for everything and the waitresses sucked until it came tip time.

Plus, the pitchers only held like two beers due to that ice thing in the middle.

Inflation? The fact is that Hooters just isn't as popular as it used to be. I never hear of anyone going there.

If that was available, they wouldn't be closing.

Yes, because the waitress decided on that policy.

I don't think I've been to a Hooters since the Early 00's when the one in Lafayette ran a wing, pitcher, and inability to spot a fake ID special.

Your waitress must have hated you. When we used to go they would pour a couple of beers first and then put the cold pack in.

As long as they don't close the Denham location, I won't pick up my pitchfork

If Chuck E Cheese was in danger of closing Joe would shower them with tax breaks.

I don't think I have seen a remotely attractive waitress at Hooters in a decade.

I've not really wanted to go but there was one near my hotel in McAllen, TX and the guy I was working with insisted we go. You are correct. The waitresses there looked nothing like the ones from the original post.

That was my one and only trip.

miss the old school hooters wings. They are nothing like they used to be

^this. I went a few months back for the first time in years and the wings were sub par. I used to think they were great. Now, the gas station by my office has better wings

Not really sure how they could have. I never went often enough to the same one for anyone to ever know me. Probably could count on one hand how many times I ate there. They would show up to the table with the ice packs already in them.

I don’t see the one in Bossier City lasting much longer since the boardwalk that it’s on is completely dead.

the closures are further evidence of the economic toll caused by rampant inflation, which has soared since the Biden regime seized office in 2021.

At least two of the Hooters (possibly part of the problem) in the Mobile area closed several months or maybe even a year ago. I’d visit the one in Tillman’s Corner every now and then for the Fried Dill Pickles. The wings had severely declined in quality. The beer was always “luke” and overpriced. As others have mentioned the “talent” was virtually nonexistent.

I think it was a case of the initial business model striking gold back when chicken wings were cheap and wing joints weren’t on every corner, but the people who ran it didn’t really plan for long term.

Fat tranny waiters aren't as enjoyable as some sorority girl from the local college.
