Hooking up with meh chicks

I am good looking, and I can get girls numbers or match on tinder/bumble or what have you. The problem comes in when I start messaging them. I always manage to blow it. So I settle for chicks that aren't very hot. Am I the only one? Seems like most of my friends would prefer to not get any poon rather than go after 6s and below. Am I some sort of addict or sick frick?

I dunno, I had a somewhat long time girlfriend so I suck at messaging girls I don't know. I probably come on too strong. But when I don't make any effort they don't seem very interested either.
