100% the lawyers will sue and the politicians and race baiters will all say "if the police wouldn't chase them this wouldn't happen." No one will blame the criminals who break the law and do this shite.

Her family should sue BRPD and the mayor for letting this shite go unchecked.

I hear them off in the distance all the time at my house when I'm sitting outside late at night.

Both will be quoted in tomorrow's paper saying they didn't know it was an issue in BTR.

Sounds like cops were chasing him, and that’s when he hit the other car. Let’s not act like he was just drag racing and lost control. The end results of this will probably be a limit on high speed chases on nonviolent offenses.

The lady he killed was a funeral director and a valuable asset to the community. Many family members and friends are grieving on Facebook.

That’s fine and all it it’s a civil suit… but it won’t be. Do you know who pays the money when the government fricks up like this? Not the PD & not the politicians. We (the taxpayers) get stuck with the bill. This shite gets really old.
People saying sue this and sue that when it comes to the government are part of the problem.
I would love to put that fricking guy away behind bars until he’s too old to reproduce. Suing people and paying with taxpayer money is not sustainable. That money is coming out of some risk management budget that I’m sure has an obscene amount of slush money available. That’s the spotlight that needs to be shown.

Setting up stings/checkpoints for racing would have been a lot better than a high speed chase. They set up checkpoints outside of tiger land to pop people for DUI and “make” 10 grand busting 10 people in one night, thinking that is a lucrative haul. Avoiding a million dollar lawsuit has the financial impact of 1000 DUI’s.

What is shocking is there is a 2014 Dodge Charger that actually works.

I'm pretty sure I posted the original post on the POS...

But this is the best argument against Gun Control I have ever seen!

I would like to officially call for Chief Murphy Paul’s resignation. He should do the honorable thing.

I never thought I’d see the day when cops were urged NOT to pursue dangerous criminals. But, here we are…

This is a contradiction. Just put a .45 in his skull. Problem solved
Or just bring back public executions

Yeah Im sure this guy would have stopped for a racing checkpoint because he seems like the kind of guy who respects police
