Thanks all
For the replies and photos !!! Dog lovers I think just get it.
Sting is a bit less but still a ton of memories with him. It hurts a ton more being only 4 years old. Hard to lose him in his prime.
I believe he sent me a sign today, on a trail run and found this toy in the bushes away from the trail on his favorite area to chase squirrels. He knows I hurt but this made my day

Sorry for your loss. Beautiful dog. I used to train retrievers for field trials. They are smart animals. My wife loves retrievers, too, but the hairy kind that shed a lot. It's okay. They're our fur babies.

Thank you.
Her temperament is wonderful. I train her daily (very short learnings). We also attended basic obedience training sessions as well. We will attend advanced training sessions in the coming months and may go for service training certification.
I got her out of Indiana. She’s an American European mix.

Gorgeous pup. I'm so sorry for your loss!! I lost my Golden/Pyrenees (14 yrs old) this last May. She'll never truly be gone. I miss her like crazy every day. He'll be in your heart.
These 2 are my endless entertainment. Scout (2yr old Golden) and Gage (1 yr old American Bulldog). Individually...pretty smart, Together...sharing a brain cell. Lol! It's never dull.
