Update?
While Honkus, and most of China, handled beer flu with grace and dignity, Americans are losing their god damn minds.
I don't know if it is their egos, their ignorance, or their propaganda/outrage culture but it is embarrassing.

How messed up would it be if the 4 of them escaped Wuhan only to catch it at home. Care the compare how we've handled it and how China handled it?

Thank you to everyone again for helping us get back. In hindsight, maybe I overreacted a bit. Still glad we got out when we did.
I went back to work in March, only to have my entire department furloughed in April due to Covid and laid off in May (NB4 Another Go Fund Me).
Taking the year off to work on some professional development and hoping to get back in the workforce next year.

Received my bill from the US Government today for my wife's plane tickets. I hope this is the one and only time in my life that I pay the US for a flight. Strange times.

You can appeal the charges through an administrative review. I know a few of the people in our evacuation went that route and are still waiting on a decision.
