Can't even imagine how long that flight home from Cali is going to feel. Dealing with little crap too...a month of mail, rotten food in the fridge, running water to clean out stagnant pipes, etc.

Ventured here wondering the same thing. Really hoping the airline/his destination airport went dicks to him. Also hoping the neighbors don't treat them like they've had the plague. (Always are a few arseholes up north though.)
Though we'd love to know there are about a million things more important than an internet message board. I can't wait to climb into our own bed after a week on vacation... I can't even imagine how great their beds felt to the 4 of them tonight.

We actually just touched down at JFK. still gotta get our bags, shuttle over to long term parking pick up the van, drive back to airport and pick everyone up and a 3.5 hour drive home. Should be home and in bed by 6am
