They are going to miss out on potentially 2 to 3 weeks of instructor time. (The substitute teachers filling in don’t know shite). Big disadvantage considering all students in America take the ap tests on same day. Will be curious to see if test scores affected.

Have some younger family members who are complaining about it.

Theyll be okay.

I’d say the state of L.A. schools in general was more of a detriment to their learning than missing two weeks of instruction.

Edit - Added periods for the ornery Louisiana residents.

At first I was like "Why the hell are Ascension Parish students going to school in Los Angeles?". Then I just realized I'm dumb.

I went out on a date with a teacher recently. She spent the entire time painting herself as a victim. “I live my life on a teacher salary.” The average teacher salary is 71k up here.

Should have told her you were 16 and she’d have sucked you off under the table

Teachers in the Los Angeles Unified School District went on strike due to lack of raises and increased class sizes.

The really important question is "how will this impact crawfish prices?"
