Is very different than rolling a house

Social media is pumping them to up the anti on bad behavior.

Back in the day rolling a house was funny and usually the group that did it would go help clean up later.

Now, these kids are destroying property for internet cred. Good thing they are documenting their bad behavior.

When my kids started school ~15 years ago his PRE-K class did a fund raiser where they flock your yard with plastic flamingos, then we were supposed to move them to another house. It was a post on facebook sort of thing. Well, I posted it on facebook. I pulled the metal posts out of the flamingos and ran them over with a lawnmower. They were in 10,000 pieces in the yard. Ever since then everyone just asks if I will donate the $100. Not a problem. But don't put shite in my yard.

30 years ago it was all the rage for kids to go mess with people's pumpkins for their fall fair displays in Franklinton. Now, I've yet to be able to explain, in adequate terms, how the good folks of Washington Parish feel about their fair. The whole damn town shuts down. Schools, businesses, etc. To suggest that someone has a drs appt, or other such nonsense, the week of the fair, is as heinous as messing with someone's fall decorations.

One ole boy finally had enough. A police buddy of his sprayed a can of mace on his pumpkins and he would mist them every evening. The school kids finally got their mitts on the pumpkins, and that ended the great Franklinton pumpkin busting tradition.

We always rolled & egged house when I was a kid
If we liked you... your parents house got only TP
If not...well, you got some eggs mixed in with the TP
Who the hell can afford to do that now?
Have you seen the prices of TP and eggs today?

It’s cringy as shite when moms post their rolled yard on FB clearly for attention.

It’s funny once. After that is a pain in the arse.

We were doing this in the late 80a and learned it from the older kids. It's a tradition in small towns.

Might depend on the demographics of where you live.

But it’s good clean fun in smaller towns.
