In every single blade incident in hockey it’s been an accidental leg kick from a guy losing his balance. Add to that all the times players lose their balance and just don’t cut someone

He was going for a hard check. He lost his balance and he tried to continue to check by leaping with the leg still on the ice

man, he leans into the first guy with his elbow. he was obviously trying to check that guy.

In no way does it look like he kicked his left leg up on purpose. Watch the gif I posted, look at the still image below. His left skate completely rolls over and balance is lost and his leg flies up, which had happened multiple times in hockey resulting in blade cuts

The guy without the puck thus letting the guy with the puck a free lane to the middle of the ice? Nah.

Obviously, grossly, indisputably guilty.
Whether he meant to kill him is debatable, but he damn sure threw that foot up to cause some form of harm...

Makes no sense? Look at bud left skate roll, wobble and then kick up

Your picture is of a skater changing direction at speed. It’s done a 100 times a game. Nothing that happens forces that leg up accidentally. Even if he bumps hard into the first player, it wouldn’t cause that foot to fly like it did. Pros don’t have that bad of control over their feet. Your argument that it happens multiple times is often with both players falling or one of them taking a huge hit knocking them off their feet. NONE of the examples look close to this.

No, it doesn't.

I see it wobble and roll, which means it loses forward momentum, which means more force must be put into that leg to gain more momentum. More force like an intentional kick.

You’re from outside of Pineville.

You had to come to Pineville to go shop at Howard Bros.

None of that would result in his foot going neck high

He raised his leg sideways to kick the man with the puck

Your boy is guilty of killing a person in a hockey game

Same. Contact with the opposing player, his skate gets caught and comes off the ice with momentum from contact. Sad though.

Pretty high with leg while upper body still relatively perpendicular to ground still. Even the way he falls down looks like he is more in control up to leg hitting player. I don’t think going to neck was on purpose, but maybe leg getting caught up caused leg being extended out on purpose to end up going to neck.

But I haven’t seen it on anything but a pixelated mobile view. I would think a better view could tell if bracing for a fall or if focus was on player killed. Also a comparison on if his legs swing out similarly when falling to ice like that or if he has a history of swinging a leg out when someone breaking back under his skating momentum.
