It was okay. A lot of redundancy and honestly the hobby is so out of control expensive it’s not even really a hobby anymore. Tables full of cards for hundreds and thousands of dollars.
Still lots of cool stuff to look at and for $5, was with it to walk around.

I used to go to all of those in the day. It was.. And still is right by my house. I won a complete set of Hockey cards as a door prize.

Can somebody that knows Chicken see if we could get the blessing to have a place to start a thread for card collecting? I think it would be awesome where we could share pics of our cards (I wish I knew how to post pics but I’m too old of a dog to teach new tricks), talk about card trends, and all that comes with the hobby.
Started collecting in the height of junk wax 87 and got my last cards around 91ish (when the big chase was the UD Griffey). Got back into the hobby last year due to my boys and man, has it changed drastically. I remember checking Beckett and seeing Big Hurt going for $20 and thought that was a fortune…my how the times are changing.
I would vote for a “hobby card continuing thread”. It would be fun.

I hate absolute, bunch of junk cards. I typically stick with prizm, optic, or select if I can
