HOA violations you find to be the most egregious

Some of the trivial fines are just part of the game. But, from time to time you see some people who habitually step the line that take things a little too far. This is when we need to remember that civil asset forfeiture is here to protect us from ourselves.

Guy I went to high school with has a neighbor that won’t get his damn boat off the street. These aren’t huge roads in their hood, so I can see why everyone is motioning for its removal.

HOA can suck a dick. Made the mistake of moving into a Subdivision when I First got married. Paid $250 a quarter for 2yrs. Treasurer packed his shite up and skipped town in the middle of the night with more than 10k.... HOA had the nerver to ask everyone to make up for lol the lost funds to help pay for court cost to go after the guy.... frick RIGHT OFF ON THE SPERM WORM THEY RODE IN ON. THE WHOLE frickING LOT OF’EM.

Y’all should have investigated every patrolling citizen y’all had assigned to duty that night. I’m skeptical about your story, only because there were a number of people in that chain of command you’d have had to investigate aside from the treasurer.

My dad was putting up a fence. The president of the HOA introduces himself as my dad is digging the holes and chats with my dad a good 30 min. He can clearly see where the holes for the fence are.
That a-hole waited until the fence was completely up and finished to send my dad a letter telling him that the fence was out of compliance with the HOA. That the fence was about 3 feet too far forward.
My dad told him he was welcome to come and move it himself considering he stood in the yard and talked with him about it for 30 minutes.

You don’t care about the HOA until you need the HOA. But the fearless men and women who serve don’t ask for anything in return. Just that you keep it at or under 20 mph, and come to a complete stop. No rolling stops.

And out come the usual HOA haters who opt to move into a subdivision with an HOA and then bitch about it. After living next to Billy Bob running an outboard motor repair shop in his back yard, and across from the Griswalds with Cousin Eddie living in a camper on the driveway, I am glad I moved into a subdivision with enforced guidelines You don't like it- don't move there. Simple enough.
