I'm a big Huddle House fan

Nothing wrong with Huddle House, I like them too. Omelet Shoppe was like a carbon copy of Waffle House. Huddle House has a more varied menu, and I like that.

I’m a true fan of Bert’s Chili.

True story. My SO is a fund raiser for a non-profit. Bert is one of her consistent donors and always has some WF swag to give her (aside from the $$). Our boys love rocking WF hoodies.

He's retired in NWFLA.

The first Waffle House was in Atlanta, GA.

The building that housed the first WH is now the WH Museum. I've been there. One interesting factoid is that for many years, WH's would not refrigerate their raw eggs. The eggs were consumed long before they had the chance to spoil.

My go to at WH is the Fiesta Omelette. So light and fluffy they are a work of art.

The 3 minute shorts he does on military stuff is hilarious and informative.

The E-4 Mafia short might be his best ever.

True Waffle House fans can bypass the server and correctly call their order out straight to the cook in perfect WH terminology.

My cousin got a job and placed in management training at the Waffle House. In order to be a manager you have to work every position in a Waffle House as part of your training. He was at a Waffle House in GA during a big ice storm/snowmagheddon back in the early 2000’s (I think). People that were stranded were coming in and they sold out of everything they had but their steaks. Never closed.

Also he said it’s hard AF to run the griddle with everyone yelling orders at you and you having to keep it straight.

Have you ever noticed how the grill cooks set up plates next to the grill to remember the orders? It's their own language rather than having a bunch of tickets in front of their face.

We recently had one open near us and they're not open 24/7 due to lack of employees. The close at 2PM every day.

The waitresses align the condiment packages on the plate which designates what goes on said plate. fricking ingenious.
