Clark’s Creek and Tunica Hills are only ones I really know. Any other suggestions?

Homochitto in Mississippi is pretty nice, not very long trails. The lake is pretty clean though.

My kid and some friends went to Red Bluff, MS today.

In MS the Desoto National Forest has some trails. One of them follows the Black Creek quite a ways

There’s a boardwalk trail and several miles of shell roads over at Big Branch NWR in St. Tammany Parish that is fun. Good scenery and some wildlife to see.

Yeah. They had some assclown game warden ticketing people at the gates at Clark Creek yesterday. Although a friend of mine snuck in on a weekday recently with no problem. We went down the street to Tunica WMA and hiked trail C, which was decent.

For the OP: Louisiana's longest trail is about 30 miles and it's located somewhere near Woodworth. Wild Azalea Trail.

That's a wilderness area. I camped on the trail free of charge. I don't see how it could be closed unless they closed the main road into the forest.

North Lake Nature center in Mandeville is not bad. Got in about 5 miles. Easy hiking.

Is there a worse state for hiking than Louisiana? Not trolling here, genuinely curious.
What state would be worse? Kansas and Oklahoma? East Texas sucks but Big Bend and some spots in the hill country are good. All the Great Lake states have some at least decent options (Illinois is probably the worst). Arkansas and Missouri are solid. Florida has the Florida Trail which is something. Alabama has the Pinhoti and some other interesting spots. Wisconsin has the Ice Age Trail, Minnesota has the Superior Hiking Trail plus the boundary waters. Northeast, mid Atlantic and southeast have the appalachians. The west is unquestionably better.

ETA; I forgot about Iowa. Let’s just say bottom tier is Louisiana, Iowa, Kansas and Oklahoma. Maybe you throw Nebraska in as well.
