Either that or some loo loo engineering baw botched the paperwork a few years back and it never got taken care of!

Yea man, we're good. Was a bitch getting here with all the flooding. Left the Ridge at 1pm on the dot and got here around 3:30pm. Between Dumbasses who cant keep a vehicle on 4 lanes of concrete and all the flooding, it all made for an eventful ride!

Dutchtown Villa subdivision has water in its neighborhood. The houses were built 36 inches above the road so none are flooded yet. But the road has a solid 5 inches of water and rising

i looks pretty bad in my neighbor's yards but really it's no where close to flooding... would need at least 2 more feet before it would flood them...

i believe you.... just went a rode around and the entrance to the subdivision is completely submerged... there's a retention area in the middle of the subdivision that is overfilled, coming close to some houses, but i don't think they have anything to worry about...

the house right next door to the subdivision is fricked though... that big, new white one off hwy. 74... they can't get on or off the property because their drive way, which is very low lying as it is, is completely submerged....

harvest is open though, and that chevron on the corner, too... i think walgreens is but i didn't spend a ton of time on the roads

Just made a run to Harvest to stock up. Old Mill streets are underwater but doesn't look like the water has made it in people's yards yet.

From what I've seen just riding around briefly is the streets themselves being flooded in low areas around the drains. The houses look to be ok for now. The retaining ponds have nowhere to flow and are high, so the back pressure is pushing water back out of the drains and flooding streets in certain low spots.

Passed the big white house yesterday evening and thought no way it sees water. After passing again an hour ago I am rethinking that.

He's still in hiding, but he better put that mess behind and come out if he wants to have any chance of remaining in office. Wbrz is having to ask Gonzales Mayor about Ascension roads...

I kind of thought he would come out and take charge of the situation to help build his character back up?
