I learned the hard way about Georgia’s super speeder law. Was doing 92 in a 70 (I think). The ticket was $600 then they added another $200 super speeder fine for a grand total of $800. Anything over 85 qualifies for the super speeder fine.

280 in Georgetown, La where the speed changes 4 times in about a 100 foot span. But they let you call and they'll reduce it to a non-moving violation...for the same amount. I was doing 60/45. I thought it was still 55. I literally missed the speed limit sign that was overgrown by vines (I drove thru there the next day to check out my thoughts). But I knew my word against the magistrate/DA/Chief (all the same person) wouldn't hold up...so I paid it.

99/45 with my foot on the brake on Masonic drive in Ellick. Multiple burn outs at the south traffic circle before. DA charged me $175.
Dragged an Iberville sheriffs deputy on basin one night at 120, was still in st Martin parish.

$277 for 77 in a 55 on Hwy 190. We had just left Billy's and it was raining on and off. It was a construction zone, hence 55 instead of 65. Trooper didn't ask for my insurance- if he had, I would have realized then that I left my phone at Billy's instead of figuring it out on the North side of Alexandria
When I called to find out about the cost of the ticket and if there was any way to get it changed to a non-moving violation, the lady on the other end of the phone said 'just write your request on a sticky note'

$384 65 in a 35 traveling through Woodworth LA. The speed trap to rival all other speed traps.

ABout 8 years ago I paid $248 for going 76mph in a 60mph zone heading into that God awful town of Alexandria, La. Was on I49 heading into town and never noticed the speed limit drop in that dog-leg in the road going down hill. They had 2 other people pulled over as well. All State Troopers. They park at the bottom of the hill and pick people off. By the time you realize what's happening it's too late.
Once pulled over the Trooper motioned for me to get out of the vehicle - which I did with the proper paperwork. I told him he had a nice setup right there. He just grinned and handed me my trophy. lol I was on my way in about 5 minutes.
One good thing about getting a ticket in Rapides Parish is that if you haven't gotten a traffic citation in 3 yrs (maybe it was 10yrs) then the new ticket doesn't go on your driving record.

Cuffed and stuffed. A lot more than $285. Not to mention the impounded car.

Roughly the same. Maybe a few dollars less, for going between 75 and 80 on the spillway westbound out of NOLA.
St. Charles Parish making money.

around 335. went through a police baracade, then the cop popped me for no seatbelt and expired plate. I went to fight the police baracade with the other degenerates, but couldn't take being around those people, just paid it

They have recently moved their corp limits sign on the north side 2 miles north of old corp limits. 89/65 Saturday, asked where sign was and he said 2 miles north. It’s all about da $$.

Were you not able to get it out of second gear or did he clock you in the 1/4? :)

I’ve never hired an attorney and I have all my changed to non moving. All you have to do is ask. They just want the money for the fine

The highest speeding ticket I got was $85 for 90 in a 55 (was late '70s, so 55 mph limit on all interstates) on I65 in North Tennessee a few miles from the Kentucky state line. In was a county cop and he took my driver's license and told me I could come to court on a date in a few weeks. I told him that I didn't think I would be in the area on that date. He pulled out a business card with a name and address on it and told me to mail a money order for $85 made payable to the name on the card. He said to make sure I included my name and ticket number on a separate piece of paper. When they received my money order, they would mail me my driver's license. Did as he said and a couple of weeks later I got my license in the mail. So they were running a scam by getting out of state people to mail money to some dude. Don't know if the dude was the sheriff or not. It was just a name, like Joe Smith.

65 in a 55 cost about $168 last time I was checked. They let you plea it to an equipment non-moving violation?
