Per WBRZ

Didn’t these guys learn their lesson about high speed chases into WBR? The criminal allegedly ran a stop sign. Short memories, huh ?

Low I Q cops have to get their excitement somewhere.

They don’t learn because they aren’t capable.

Two of my daughters friends were killed during the last high speed chase through WBR and it blows my mind that this is still happening on our side or the bridge.

Seriously, I can’t believe people won’t follow the law and just pull over.

Are you serious? Cop ran a red light without tapping his brakes and hit 3 kids crossing the highway - they were the 6th car coming through the intersection. Speed limit is 45 and the cop hit them at 85. frick off

The cop was at fault for causing the crash due to negligence and has been charged in WBR.

I thought you were talking about people running from cops, that is the only reason there is a chase.

Okay then I recant my frick off. My issue is cops knowing when to draw the line - when the risk is greater than the reward. Our girls died in a chase over a guy stealing a car from a relative. They had his identity, his address, and his families info - no need to risk the lives of bystanders to chase this dude down. But kids are dead. Chases are out of hand.

And the people downvoting the dead kids post, I hope you don't have kids. Lots of fun to be had being assholes on this board, but dead kids aren't one of them. I hope you don't have kids because karma is real and no kid deserves to have you as a parent.

I get where you’re coming from, and appreciate you recanted the frick off.
Edit: I think the people downvoting you believe that if we create a system where criminals can just run and know they won’t be chased then the world will be a worse place. Don’t wish that karma for people that want law and order in a society they contribute to.

I’m just saying, sometimes you just gotta back the frick off. You know who he is, get him at his house. A high speed chase up highway 1 through Port Allen with all those intersections is a very scary thing.

There’s no need for a high speed chase for a traffic infraction. EVER

This place never ceases to amaze me.

Bitch about crime rates.

Bitch about police being proactive.

Bitch when cops let criminals get away with stuff.

Bitch when cops chase them down.

I’ve never bitched about traffic infractions & I'm not “this place”

It amazes me you think it’s ok for an innocent person to lose their life over a traffic infraction. That’s pretty damn senseless to me. The offender and the cop should be held liable for their deaths & the shite needs to stop.

Did you know that 5 innocent bystanders have been killed over the last year, by police pursuits, in the Baton Rouge area alone? That’s bullshite.

Cops should just start shooting anyone that flees. It really would solve a ton of problems over time.
