I think these ladies are simply reverting to a secondary or tertiary reproductive strategy.

Women will sometimes “chuckhold” their beta husbands in order to 1) maintain the stability of being provided for by the beta, even as they 2) go for the alpha male’s genes for reproduction. This is known as a secondary reproductive strategy.

Well, with these teachers, they are compelled by their biology to have sex with the young studs they think will grow into alpha males. They catch them early, before they are capable of actually competing with their sure thing, meal ticket, Beta male husband, but they still get those Alpha genes up in their guts.
