No. I'm mad at what you know you see, but you want to be the contrarian. Why does an academic institution feel the need to make a decision on someone's application because of what some sheltered, removed from reality "Disney star" demanded?
LSU can make the decision. Fine. Cut him. But to go to some shite sitter's social media page to affirm?
You see it. So stop pretending.

I wish I could say that I am 100% certain you are joking, but sadly, I'm only 90% certain.

17 people were shot and 5 were murdered in New Orleans since Friday and people are motherfricking worried about a 18 year old saying a naughty word. Get the frick out of here

You worry about it enough for everyone, ty. Your concerns are heartwarming

Perhaps the kid is a racist today. But this is how you make him stay a racist.
Forgiveness, learning, exposure to other influences and people, that’s how people change.
Not by excommunication from society and withholding of public educational resources.
This would’ve been a great moment for a prominent black alumni to step forward and defend this and make a statement.

If I was a current student at LSU and said that about/ to other students I would be disciplined. Same if I did it at work.
Actions have consequences.

Unless he’s inciting violence. Let the dude in and give him a black roommate.

I don’t think posting a video of yourself qualifies as a private conversation.
That said, I believe that a higher education program should be making efforts to do just that. Making an effort to educate young people on hate speech and racism should take a priority over locking them out.

Not posting videos of yourself proudly saying the "n" word online is a ridiculously high standard?

This is the kind of shite I reference when the business school calls me for money and I tell them no.

Skai Jackson made this national news. He won't get into any public university. He's fricked. I guarantee you he's picked up several stalkers who will follow him around for the next decade ruining his life.
He's an absolute dumbass and deserves rejection.
Dude made a stupid mistake, or maybe he really has this in his heart, but ruining his life is not the answer. That's how mass shooters are created. Desperation and hopelessness are dangerous combinations.
People are too blood thirsty with this cancel culture.

Probably half the kids at Southern says the very same word several times a week.
Still playing stupid when it comes to this. And have you even been to Southern's campus lately?

College early 90s. I'm not saying it was used in a racist context. 2 Live Crew, NWA, and Ghetto Boys were a large part of our lives. We repeated the lyrics. And the word was used in the context of -a and not -er at the end of it.
i would walk through the quad and hear the N word all the time, late 90s. mostly by group of black athletes that were usually gathered together.
dont know if blacks in the quad still use that word, but I hear it at a circle K near my work all the time.
society is very hypocritical
