Not since 2016 have we had this occur via Jeff Morrow.
Is there a thread already on this?

shite must be bad up in Washington Parish and down around Pearl River. I have gotten two emergency warnings about flooding and roads being washed out.

Pretty sure St. George is safe. I think it’s more for BR and north BR

*legit trying to explain through geographical means. Not trying to be SG v. BR

EBR. How much flooding heavily depends on how much rain falls north of BR.

WBRZ already shows the Amite River in Denham Springs above flood stage. Anybody in that area here? Is it flooding again?

Yeah, the last high risk day(s) were the 2016 floods. So maybe, just maybe, some concern is justified.

ETA: High risk days from the WPC correspond to 90% of flood damage from excessive rainfall.

Unless we got 5 + inches tonight this shouldn’t be anything like 2016 huh?
