Half of Louisiana and a quarter of Texas would see all up in your business.

Does no one have curtains, blinds, or window tint these days?

That looks nice and all, but I don't want it unless there's a sex dungeon.

If it came out Les miles had a poon pad I would put that in the same level of shock as if Mr Rogers or Tom Hanks were discovered to be Cosby level sickos.

Get elected to the state legislature and you can get one of the sweet ones in the old pentagon barracks.

I agree. The move needs to become a reality first. Traffic, crime, and flooding will be deciding factors

If you don't have kids or don't mind paying for private school just live close to work. Unless you work in the hood.

I rarely spend more than 20 minutes in traffic after years of commuting from the burbs. It's nice having all of that time back.

I work in that area. There are plenty of nearby places to live where traffic wouldn't be a major problem. Just live somewhere where you don't have to depend on the interstate.

I am anticipating a move to BR in the near future. I've thought about getting something like this as opposed to a house

There are actually a handful of nice apartment buildings downtown. That’s the way to go if you don’t have kids and you work in the area.

Grocery, gym, pharmacy, and decent parks all within walking distance.

Been in them many of times. A couple of them are pretty nice inside.

If that's the case, then I'd likely try to live closer to Perkins Rowe. That area also has some nice apartment complexes within walking distance of grocery stores, gyms, bars, a movie theater, etc, though unless your job would be at the Neuromedical Center, you'll likely still have a short drive to work, but not a bad one.

Bluebonnet traffic is a wholly different commute than downtown traffic.

Anywhere off of Perkins, Essen (no longer a total shite show after the construction), Jefferson, Burbank would be fine. We live in the Jones Creek area and I commute to Bluebonnet. It's 15-20 minutes. Granted I work 7:15 - 4'ish

Heck, even getting a nice rent house in Southdowns or by the Perkins Road Overpass area would be fair game if he's working near Bluebonnet.

I still can't believe how fast Bluebonnet Extension (a connection that was made between Airline and Bluebonnet across Jefferson) was flooded with enough traffic to be a PITA. It was built, then was almost gridlock at rush hour within 5 or 6 years.

That is traffic that is trying to avoid Essen, I-10/12, or Siegen to get out towards Jones Creek from the Bluebonnet or Medical Center area.

Why they didn't make that 6 lanes wide is beyond me.
