Dude. It's irrelevant whether or not the OP got the title from the article. We're trying to figure out where the Heroin claim originated from because possession/intent to distribute Heroin isn't on the charge sheet that was posted.

Right, I just assumed one of them had some acid or shrooms in addition to the H.

So, so the schedule 1 charge covers both? I don't know how these things are written up (not a cop, lawyer, or dope man ).

I've seen some bad things from both groups, but addy/coke addicts are always better at managing their money for some reason

its usually a different breed of people as a whole from my experience. the people using coke/addy usually have some money and the people on pain killers/oxy are usually trashy.

just from what ive seen. i cant really think of 1 person i heard about doing oxy or similar shite and didnt think white trash immediately.

I'm in North AL.

--------------------------------------------------------------
The reason I asked is because heroin has been popular among non-ghetto trash in the N.O. metro area for at least ten years, maybe longer. Perhaps recent legislation has caused an influx in your area, but it's been here for a while.

There was a 16 y/o girl from Lusher High who OD'd a while back (6 or 8 years, maybe?) that got a couple of people sent to prison. I believe her name was Maddie Prevost.

It looks like they switched Todd Blanc's and Paul Doty's pictures so they didn't have all of the black people in the bottom right.

Racist bastards!

That may be your experience but it doesn't really hold true overall. One of the guys that I know that OD'ed last year comes from a white, very rich and successful family. I have a close connection to a rehab facility right outside BR and it is sickening how many white, affluent young people are entering rehab addicted to heroin and most if not all of them started by abusing Oxy's, roxy's and Lortabs. Just like mentioned above, the supply of the pharmaceuticals dried up and they are off to the races with heroin.

I know there are plenty of people like the ones you listed that are on drugs, but for every doctor and lawyer on pain pills, ill bet there are 20+ people in poor/trashy areas on them.

I would think way less than that...the poor/trashy people either cant afford or cant get their hands on the pills and thats why they are turning to Herion
