Gen Z is the best, Gen X is good i guess, then Millennial and Boomers

So the two worst generations created the best and good generations.... And gen x, "a good generation," created one of the worst generations, millennials, which again happened to create the best generation...
So does this mean gen z will create a horrific generation to follow, which will in turn create the most bestest generation ever....or will they create a good generation? Either way, by your stance, it goes good bad good bad, every other generation. The good gens create the bad gens, but the bad gens create the good gens.

The term millenial refers to people that were "coming of age" in the new millenium, not someone born in it.

They don't "identify" as a millennial

It’s just a slang term for douchebags under 30 at this point.

You do realize that’s all pseudo science, right?

There’s no legitimate reason for creating those hard and fast rules and cut off dates.

It’s important to discuss the rapid changes in the generations, but some those dates are practically random.

Which is stupid, because a majority of the generation is 30 or older.

So does that make me a Millennial Xer?

Even if that's the case the date ranges are inconsistent. Millennial should begin in '85-'86 at the earliest.

Right, widespread use of the internet defines a generation more so than an arbitrary date (2000, which is what the millennial generation is defined around). If you grew up and only know a life where the internet is accessible, or you don't remember life without smart phones (or even texting), your life was completely different than those of us who grew before that time.

It's freaking insane how no one born in the 80s wants to be associated with Millennials.

Because we realize that we don’t won’t to be recognized with a generation of whiny pussies.

Millennial, as most people use it, isn't an age as much a state of mind and act.

No, it’s because you pussies have let Boomers define you. I was born in the mid-80’s. I display functionally zero characteristics of the Millennial stereotype. That doesn’t mean I’m not a millennial; it means the stereotype is stupid. Stop panting at Boomers, asking them to throw you a bone and label you as exceptional. You aren’t. They are idiots.

Exactly. No one born in the 80's for sure, and i'll even say the 90's is a "Millennial". That graphic is horseshite.

Like the guy said above, "Millennial" is more of a state of mind than an age.

You clearly don't understand how generation names work.

You can't be 65 years old and simply say "frick it, I'm not a boomer."

This crap is so stupid. Every generation blames the generation before them for the world’s problems. And then the previous generations always complain that kids never behaved that badly when they were young. Rinse, wash, repeat.

Gen X for sure is the most worthless

They let the boomers completely run the show for too long, and now the millennials are in their arse making a name for themselves

You stupid emo goths are basically forgotten with zero influence or worth on this country
