Don’t mess with Texas.

Regardless, their actions were in no way Christ-like.

How do you know he didnt have a second attack planned?
I see no victories. You are presuming something just to make the narrative feel good. Reality says it didnt change one thing.

Perhaps. But I think it is safe to ASSUME that SOME additional confrontation would have taken place. His going to an additional place to kill, one with LEO or something. I don't think a private suicide was next on his list...JMO.

From the Catechism of the Catholic Church:
quote:
In this regard Just War doctrine gives certain conditions for the legitimate exercise of force, all of which must be met:
"1. the damage inflicted by the aggressor on the nation or community of nations must be lasting, grave, and certain;
2. all other means of putting an end to it must have been shown to be impractical or ineffective;
3. there must be serious prospects of success;
4. the use of arms must not produce evils and disorders graver than the evil to be eliminated. The power of modern means of destruction weighs very heavily in evaluating this condition" [CCC 2309].

Absolutely. He'll never kill anyone else, saves a shite load of money and he's got holes in him that bled out.

I dont know why you leave living people that you could shoot to go find more living people at a different location. That may be the case.

This usually happens when they are cornered and no way out still exists. Obvs. I don't know what his down the road plan was, but I believe I heard his car door was open and truck was running....He was headed somewhere.

In TX? They would shoot the DA if he tried to charge these guys.

Press conference happening right now.
Looks like there is evidence that Kelley may have shot himself.

This guy had every intention of getting away, hence the armor.
If he did eat a bullet it's because he wasn't going any further.

You're making assumptions as well. Geez, we don't know what this guy may have done next, but the two guys who shot and chased him certainly stopped the possibility that he could harm others or shoot someone else.
For all we know, he thought the mil was in the church. He'd been texting her that morning. She wasn't in the church. He could have gone to find her had he not been shot and then killed himself which may have been to save himself from suicide by cops.
The two men who chased him are heroes, period.

Copied this from the other thread. Sounds like he was wounded bad enough that he either thought he wasn't going to live or that he would end up being captured... so he took his own life.
quote:
Press conference says he was shot by the neighbor of the church. Neighbor used ...an AR-15. Creep called his father while being chased and said he had been shot and was not going to make it. He shot himself in the vehicle.
