Help settle a debate about bronchitis

If you have bronchitis, then your wife,husband, kid gets it from you,Can you catch the virus back from your person? Is it like a cold where you would have to catch a different strain, or is it like a stomach bug where you can keep passing it back and forth.

I'm no doctor but I would think you could get it back but also your immune system is prepared to fight in the early stages, helping you turn the tide before it advances..

Do you and your family have it? I and my family do, for the last six weeks! I had it for four weeks and got over it for several days, but then it came back. Never had anything this long.

Just curious...have you ever had asthma? The only time I've ever had bronch for that long of a period of time, getting back on my inhaler was the only thing to finally kick it. I hadn't used an inhaler in almost a decade before then.
