I Just hit Southwest companion pass for 2015 and I have alot of points to burn with Southwest. Looking to travel with the wife around the US, mostly to big cities Southwest flies in to. My plan right now is Boston, NY, Chicago, and possibly San Diego (again). Already going to Denver for St. Patrick's day weekend to visit my wife's friend. I've been to most of these for work but I never get to play tourist. Of the OT folks who have lived in any of these cities, when is the best time to visit for events, attractions, or otherwise. Also, any other southwest destination suggestions are appreciated. TIA

New Sarpy, Plain Dealing and Bunkie. In that order.
Driskell Mountain once Winter sets in for skiing and snowboarding.

If you are into LSU football, make the trip to upstate New York to see the Tigers play Syracuse.

110,000 points with Southwest by either flights or money spent on their credit card.

Not sure if I'm walking into an infamous OT troll session, but a person of your choice can fly free with you where ever southwest flies. Stipulation is that they have to be booked on the same exact flight where ever you go. You can change the person you choose up to 3 times in a year.

If you're going to San Diego, you might as well hit up San Francisco and Portland. If you have more time, take a bus or Amtrak to Seattle, hit up Vancouver and Victoria, and then fly back home from Seattle.
All these cities are good summer destinations.

I will have fun as I fly over those places without airports.
