and everyone else says $20/sqft and doesn't charge for cutouts, bull nose, etc?

If you put a pencil to it most places are going to charge at least 40 a foot for an entry level granite.

It's probably the China pre-fab 2cm granite that's laminated in the front.

I doubt even that is as cheap as $10 per. You can't have the higher end Formica custom installed for that taking into account for materials and labor.

I have number one in my house. White subway tile backsplash and dirty top pine floors. I like but I may be biased.

The 2cm isn't that much cheaper than 3cm these days. That is why you rarely see it. Most distributors don't even carry it anymore.

I had white galaxy or galazy white.....whatever it's called

46 sqft, L-shape, with separate 2x4 island, including cut out, edging everything rounded bullnose,(all around island) installed, with undermount sink(box style sink flat walls), with faucet(fancy handheld thingy, nice) , with 6 inch backsplash (my demand, they wanted 4 ")

around the lower $1,900

sink was $200, faucet was $150, cut out was something $100?...I forget....Is Galaxy white "low end"= salome?

Why do you make so much stuff up? We're supposed to believe you flip houses, but you recently made a thread asking an obnoxiously basic mortgage calculation thread? Someone that's flipping houses wouldn't be asking such questions.

He's done more than that to make it obvious he is FoS. It's obvious from his responses and questions in a lot of threads here that he has no idea what he's talking about, and if he was flipping houses, he wouldn't be very successful at it.

That and considering the RE market in Laffy is dead right now is another giveaway. The Laffy area has led the Nation in new 90-day lates/preforeclosures on various months since September of last year and the trend isn't changing. There isn't going to be anyone flipping there for a while. People with serious cash buying inventory maybe.

Same with ILoveBamer and him leading people on the MB to think he is some rental mogul only to find out that he owns 2 very PoS low-end rentals with a partner. It's insane how may people suck up his advice and it's all shite you get from infomercials.

Ha, my first flip, and it didnt start that way. I got a job out of state.

You don't read so well I was asking the question for marketing purposes I don't know what fees are involved in a hundred percent financing as well as the discounted PMI rate of Rd loans.

I have a 3% 15 year credit union loan, not sure what it would be for someone like you.

Stout, your animosity toward me centers around the dregs of the construction industry. Most would get uncomfortable looking in the mirror knowing that they rip people off on the reg. Construction seems to be a draw for people who don't have that issue.

Its the truth, you know it, don't be mad at me for saying it.

I have no animosity towards you because I don't even know you. My aggravation is you stating shite as fact and have no idea WTF you are talking about 99% of the time. You're young, with shite for life experience, and you paint with such broad strokes based off of limited exposures and experiences.

If I did that, I would have to assume every LA Laffy fan is a bumbling moron just based off of my interactions with you on here but I don't do that. Unlike you, I am also smart enough not to offer advice about things I have limited experiences with. I am no Dr so you won't see me on here telling someone how to remove an appendix.

I couldn't care less what you say about construction people as it's like any other industry in that there are good people and bad people. That's the way the world works.

What is funny is that you say...

quote:

Most would get uncomfortable looking in the mirror knowing that they rip people off on the reg. Construction seems to be a draw for people who don't have that issue.

Yet earlier in this thread...

quote:

Call and talk to Kevin, cool asian dude

So this guy in the construction industry is cool but he is also a "dreg of society" based on your overall generalization of everyone in the construction industry.

Do you not see how contradictory and moronic that is?

Anyway, keep posting as an expert on everything in the world. It's obvious I am not the only one that notices it and laughs about how ridiculous and wrong you are 99% of the time.

We have luna pearl outside, mostly because it was cheaper, but I do like it.

That being said, for inside, I'd go with #1 out of the two.
