Either popped floats or landed in a solid area. Sounds like they checked it out and flew it back to airport

ADS-B data didn’t show descent or anything. It just quit.

Im seeing 2 RLC Sikorsky S76's flying search patterns at this very moment. I dont think it flew out.

Looks like I was wrong. Early info was given to me by another RLC pilot. I see there is still a search in that area. A lot more than 2, the small ones don’t show up on Flt aware all the time

Weather was fine after 8am. Heard acft was found, (no details) all search acft about to land in patterson.

KGAO airport was reporting 6 miles vis and clear skies, 6 knots wind with some smoke and haze around 10am this morning.

Apparently a second helicopter did have to make precautionary landing and about the same time or while searching

Don’t hate helicopters. Hate Bottom feeder helicopter companies and the cheapskate oil company procurement teams that won’t pay more to put their own people in a helicopter run by a slightly move expensive company that actually cares about safety.
