Recon is reporting several SFMR winds of 40 knots and 45 knots at flight level in SE quadrant. If they determine it has a well-defined low-level center, this thing will go straight to TS Helene status.

Are you concerned about getting into/out of Nashville or just impacts while there?
Wife and I spent a weekend in Charleston during a TS one time and had a great trip. Sometimes dodging squalls makes things more memorable. I would think that the impacts in Nashville would be merely inconvenient at most. I'd just go with it TBH

They are already showing over 9 feet of potential storm surge throughout South Tampa. Davis Islands, Bayshore/Hyde Park and everything west of Westshore would be under water.
