I want all the nerds to shut up. I am fine with alternating posts about the hurricane and LLs nympho journey. She is now the Hurricane Madame and there she will remain. VIP status in every Hurricane thread henceforth.

Did we get the rapid intensification we were expecting last night? Haven’t looked at the models this morning

While I do think that RI is coming, what has surprised me is the (slow) speed of this storm versus those early projections. They were talking about this thing charging like a locomotive, 20 to 25 MPH, but it has not sped up to that degree, looks like 12 MPH at the 0700 update.

I've been off crunching numbers on this thing and come back to this nonsense?

Is it a good or bad thing if it’s slowed down that much? I would think bad because more time in the gulf right?

Not to derail the thread but where are you guys seeing an eastward shift in the projected track? Levi's?

Preciate it

That really stings, considering it’s coming from someone who probably had a little Debbie cake and two Busch lites for breakfast

I have some friends in Live Oak who stayed. They live on the Suwanne River and I wonder how F'd they are due to the surge. Their house is on stilts and he thinks they will be fine but they just moved in about 3 months ago and have yet to see a flooding and surge event.

Seems like the same thing happened in the Ukraine war thread, totally screwed up by side bar topics.

If it were 5 days out I get it, but attention whoring for multiple pages in a thread with a major hurricane making landfall that day requires some high level narcissism.
