I know everybody is hypersensitive about it, but that ad is pretty hilariously racist. I mean the beer slides right by the dark black people to a light skinned beauty and says sometimes lighter is better. Not even subtle

You have to seriously try to think that’s racist dude.

That's a peculiar way to describe the commercial. Based on that description, and the fact that Heineken is the beer of choice among my darker brothers, I thought Chance may have a point.
After watching the commercial, that's an absurd characterization.

There is a white woman sitting St the bar talking to a black guy. The beer slides by a pair of white women and another mixed group of people.
I can understand saying it was tone deaf by focusing the most on the three black people individually, but it's quite a stretch to think it was intentional.

I wouldn't really say it was unintentional. They may have focused on the 3 black people as a bit of illusion, not sure if that is the right word to use. But it may have been used as another hint at what they were saying. But to think it's suggesting anything about race is ridiculous.
