How do you do it? What does your diet look like? I want to get healthier but find myself getting lazy and just eating out all the time. I went to the DR. Recently and he says now is the time. He gave me a list of healthy foods but I’m just looking for ideas of what to cook and bring to lunch and stuff. Just curious what a real healthy persons diet looks like during the week.

Cook your own meals from fresh ingredients is the simplest thing that you can easily do.

Post the list so we can see how little most doctors know about nutrition.

the wife and I stopped eating out, no Soda, no Booze, no Candy and no real carbs. we do a 7oz portion of lean protein for dinner, with 3 servings of veggies and a 1/2 an avocado for a healthy fat - i started at 305 in October last year, and I am 196.6 as of yesterday.

I’d rather be fat and eat good food than starve myself just for it all to go away in 10 years again.

At a bare minimum eliminate any highly processed foods. I think most everyone agrees on that.

No liquid calories, low to no added sugar, a shite load of meat. Eat vegetables (not beans or legumes) to your preference. It's extremely simple b

I eat what I want and don’t get fat. All of my yearly physical data is normal. Thanks, genetics.

I eat breakfast at 10 am. Its generally a few cashews and full fat greek yogurt.

I work out at lunch

I eat lunch at 1:30ish

this week I made a big batch of "pork roll in a bowl"

Dinner is at 6 pm and is almost always a grilled or roasted protein with 2 sides of veggies

Eat like your grandparents or great grandparents did. Traditional foods. Unprocessed.

I used to say this until my diet almost killed me.

you don't have starve yourself or eat bland food to eat healthy

this is a myth you tell yourself to justify being fat

I actually really like ordering the premade meals.

I use megafit meals. Their classic meal which is chicken, sweet potato, and asparagus is dang good.

They have a crap load of others that you can choose from

I usually grill or bake a bunch of chicken on sundays for the week, have that for lunch pretty much every day. Cook a steak a least one day a week, pick up random shite to grill the other days or eat leftovers if I cooked something else on the weekend.

Only drinking like 2 days a week and pretty much cut out sodas, drink lots of water.

I find that when I am consistently going to the gym, its much easier to eat/drink healthy because I want to see results.
