Thanks, Obama. My insurance premium is $48/month, dental is $9/month and vision is like $1/month.

Don't thank Obama. Thank me. He raised my annual family premium from $5184 to 12,660 per year to pay for yours. Plus we have a higher deductible, so there is that ! But it's ok because I fired a guy to make up for it and now he gets cheap insurance like you ! Yeah! Everybody wins !

Forward,Idiotarians !

If tomorrow you racked up a couple hundred grand in medical bills and you'd be happy you have it

well, reality depends on your dossier on health care
mine used to be bare, like old mother hubbards cupboard

now , I know a quack from a legit doctor and I don't scare so easily, and don't go running to the quacks for care...

you are likely paying for so-called peace of mind

I'm type 1 diabetic, like 300 a month for insurance and $3,500 deductible... even being type 1 and having to pay all meds and doctor visits out of pocket, I still didn't reach my deductible

None of them will get rid of ACA.

Only a revolution will.

The classic from when it was passed was the President standing at the microphone and saying that tens of thousands more would be covered and that costs would go down. How he kept a straight face is something I want to know.

Even my LA public school math says that MORE costs MORE. Not less. And, as someone just said, it isn't ever going away. Government never shrinks. They hired people and they will stay employed forever. Best we can hope for is that they try to fix this mess.

do some research.

no, not a direct result of ACA.

perhaps your employer has stopped supporting you.
That's the most likely answer.

There are several "blue Cross" companies.

If you're going to rub this shite in the faces of all the hard working folks whose premiums and deducts are skyrocketing, at least have enough nuts to post what your subsidy we're paying for amounts to.

Probably just the costs on inflation. Damn, didn't even consider that before OP.
